Electronic Resources
Through the School Library System, all students, teachers, and schools of the Genesee Valley BOCES region have access to free and subscription research databases. If your school purchases additional databases beyond the free resources provided by the School Library System through the New York Online Virtual Electronic Library (NOVELNY), check with your school library media specialist for a link to your custom database page.
Provided by the New York State Library, NOVELNY connects New Yorkers to 21st century information. NOVELNY is supported with temporary federal Library Services and Technology Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The New York Knowledge Initiative is a proposal for permanent state funding for NOVELNY.
