PageTurners is a literature-based competition for students in grades 3-12. Two teams of six students prepare to answer questions by reading the books on the Official List of Titles, which is prepared by a committee of teachers and librarians.

Teams compete in a round robin format with nearby schools, and division winners advance to a region-wide final tournament. Winning teams are recognized with plaques. All participants receive certificates.

Students participating in PageTurners may read up to 14 books each semester, selected by a panel of teachers and library specialists. Audiobooks and iPods are available through Media Library at Genesee Valley BOCES. Students are encouraged to participate in writing questions for competitions.
