Storytelling Festival

Storytelling encourages basic language and reading skills, creative thinking, listening skills, and logic and reasoning skills. When storytelling is implemented into the curriculum, the students’ attention and retention abilities can increase.

The storytelling festival is open to students in grades 3 through 8. Students selected by their participating districts to attend the festival will share their stories with an audience. All students who participate in the storytelling festival will receive a medallion during a recognition ceremony held at the end of the festival.
